Thanks for the pictures.
My father was on the Canal and Pelilieu, did some R&R in Melbourne. He came home without a scratch (unless malaria counts). The man I'm named after never left Pelilieu. Name is on a plaque in Manila, so I don't know if he has a marked grave on the island.
