I had a yellow jacket do something similar to me once. seventy miles an hour, it went up the sleeve of my leathers and stung me. Hurt like hell! After the first 'hit' I thought it was all over. I'd just slow down, pull over to a nice easy stop and get rid of it.
Damn thing stung me seven times before it got out through the open collar of my leathers. I was all over the road, too!!! Tryin' to slap my jacket sleeve and pin the thing with one hand. Did the same thing that other feller did, too. The one hand I had onna handle bars was guess where? The throttle! By the time I got my head straight and was stopped, the damn thing was gone.
I've been about knocked off a bike by bugs a time or two as well!! One o them big SOB's hit ya inna head when yer doin' seventy and eighty you'll know all about it!!
