Post Our Local National Guard Called Up
They called up our local National Guard. The whole unit will be on active duty for 18 months right after Christmas. They will spend 6 months training in Ft. Lewis and then be deployed. The guard and reserves are just as likely to serve in a combat zone as regular Army. Interesting times in which we live.
