At 55 I went back to college. On the first day I met this sweet young thing and after class she agreed to accompany me to the student union. As we chatted I was proud to be in the company of such a lovely 18 year-old, figuring that I still had it if I could pick up on a girl that age. Eventually it came up in our convesation that I love to travel and I had been in Viet Nam recently. That led to my stating that I was a soldier there during the war.
To that she responded, "My grandpa was in Viet Nam."
Me, "You know, I own several guns."
She, "Huh?"
Me, "Nothing."
We actually became good friends, but she sure did put me in my place.
