Thank you so much for your kind thoughts. Much of the info I'm finding is from my dad's OER's. You might ask your dad if he has those so that you might understand more.
I have also found film that my dad took during their time their. It shows about 6 to 7 C-47's dropping paratrooper's (in front of him,who know's how many behind) in 62 to 63 when we were not there <
I will add more as I didgitize for all.
On a personal note my dad was so glad to have been able to speak to your dad after so many years, as though they had never been apart.
