Time to Roll Back Veterans Benefits and Military Retirmemen Costs
In yesterdays report to Congress, the proposal by the Federal Reserve
Chairman to reduce the federal defecate by eliminating Veterans Benefits and
Military Retirement payments was not as well reported as the proposal to
eliminate Social Security.
But on page 17 of his report to Congress, which is published in the
Congressional Record, Chairman Alan Greenspan clearly stated that Veterans
Benefits and Military Retirement Payment costs are "a future time economic
timebomb waiting to explode in the face or our struggling economy". He goes
on to say "future growth trends, when amatorized over economic forecasting
modles which include the modalities and mortality projections of longevity
for the classification and subclassification studies involving the targeted
and marginal targeted groups clearly show a upward trend toward increased
demographic projected requirements for primary and secondary application and
request for primary, secondary and tercurary service that clearly cannot be
sustained unless there is a subjective application of studies to determine
the effects of current programs projections with future statically
modalities".
He then goes on to say "not having had the good fortune to have had the
opportunity to be included in one of the demographic groupings given the
good fortune to have had opportunity to be included in the demographic group
that had the good fortune and had the opportunity to be included in the
demographic group that was chosen to be the group that had the opportunity
to be included in one of the groups that were chosen to serve, I can look at
this issue from a subjective prospective and determine in a subjective
manner the due course for future projections and applications based on the
application of modality tends and forecasts".
We better start writing our Congressmen and Congresswomen, quick. Looks
like we're the next target
