Not really so sad, but utterly predictable. I first met Clark at the National Training Center, and was immediately struck by his raging pomposity. He had tied his career to Slick Willie, and rose through the ranks to become one of the most reviled officers in the US Army. While at a recent work session at Ft. Leavenworth, KS, I met some other retired officers who had had the displeasure of working with or for him; to a man, they all despised him as imperious, ungrateful, narcissistic and deceitful. It is obvious that he's lobbying to become SecDef under Junior.
