I have found that the day reported does not usually correspond to the day killed but it is off just a day or so usually. Get the lists, go to the Wall website and it will list what unit the killed were in. I daresay if they were from 2/8th Cav on those days on or after May 6th, they were killed on LZ Carolyn. Another thing if you wish to search other times, just change the date on the address and it will take you there. Another thing, if he wants a real concise history of the 1st Cav for that period, go to Amazon.com and order the book Incursion by JD Coleman. It is out of print but you can get used copies cheap there.
