Reunion
From 10 - 14 April this year, there will be a reunion of veterans of the 47th Infantry Regiment at Ft. Benning, GA. This reunion will recognize all veterans of this highly decorated regiment, from WWII to Vietnam, with some rather auspicious ceremonies and a golf tournament. There were three battalions of this regiment in the 9th Infantry Division, and all acquited themselves very honorably and well in Vietnam.
If any Patriotfiles.com folks are veterans of this proud regiment, and have not heard of the upcoming reunion, kindly PM me and I'll get the official word to them.
