What Is Wrong With Our Society

For a world that prides itself upon its sanity, we humans still manage to display one helluva penchant for violence and mayhem! “And it seems to me” that mankind sure as “Hell” has not progressed very much in the last two millennia?
So just what is it with our race of super beings that has plunged us into countless wars.. unbridled mayhem, and un-fettered mayhem, and when (if ever) will we finally begin to live together in harmony and brotherhood? “For life is short and our abilities are great”, but our lust for violence and carnage seems to be always a step ahead of our conscience and our immortal souls, – why is that exactly!
But then, maybe we are but a race of suicidal fools at times, along with being (eternally) -
