I have looked at it both ways and this is my conclusion:
Vice: Normally referred to as an addiction or prostitution. Im gonna stick with the prostitute. Now can we reverse her.....I dont think so.
Vise: A clamp....Can we reverse it, "Yes"
This how we ended up with the phrase. Vise-Versa
Now lets go back to the word incontinent.
You have to admit the two Tennessians (Doc Fred & Doc Hal) definitely put some humor into it....It was almost as good as "JEET"
