What i don't get

Is this crap with the republican party. There is this stuff with them saying stuff about mcCain. This shows me that if you do not follow hook line and sinker that your against the grain or whatever.

Why now is there some kind of thing going about to slam this man. I respect him a great deal and think he is a good man...not perfect but a good one. He knows Kerry personally and is a friend is that an auto thing not to like him?

I don't like Bush....didn't as governer but I sure wish McCain had been the one running and the one who won.

Another slander campaign gone wrong(both sides do this....i know.)

In many respects, John McCain is an opportunistic weasel, and I don't care if he calls himself a Republican. He has as much political conviction as a tumbleweed, but he's not nearly as enduring.

Classic case in point: the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform bill that was signed into law is a vacuous piece of legislative blather, resulting in absolutely little change or improvement in the financing of campaigns, but in enormous legal fees for the, **gasp! lawyers. Personally, I fault the President for ever signing this piece of trash into law, thinking all the while that a common sense judge would ultimately rule the entire bundle of BS unconstitutional. Onliest problem being, a paucity of common sense judges.

Of course, if you think that Bush was a bad governor, then you probably wouldn't like what some people are saying about McCain.

Melody,

My feelings about John McCain, John Kerry, President Clinton and President Bush in regard to normalizing trade with Vietnam goes back to holding Vietnam accountable for those American service men that were POW/MIA when we withrdrew from Vietnam and refusal to hold the government of Vietnamaccountable forgenocide.

Tradewithoutaccountabilityarethe key words here. For me it has nothing at all to do withwhat a nice guy John McCain, John Kerry, President Clinton or President Bush may be.It haseverything to doas far as I'm concerned with keeping the promise of "LeavingNo Man Behind" and defending those indigenous people in Vietnam whoat this timehave no defense. Thisis a travesty of justice that has been carried out through many administrations.

Scout.....if John McCain is an opportunistic weasel then so is Bush and every politician out there. I just get sick and tired of this slander crap. It is all because McCain spoke out a few times against the party leader. This has happened in the Lib party and I don't like it either.

You see I am about as wierd as it get when it comes to politics. I am split on everything. I'm not going to jump on someone because they dissagree with me. Everyone is entitled to there opinion but that seems at odds with alot of folks. I don't like any politicians.....I like McCain more than some but thats not saying a whole lot. I know none of them personally.

Arrow....I can barely read your type(need new glasses) but I don't agree with the trade thing either. we should bring our men home first.
