Toxic Burn Pits?

1-30-2024

“No Man” should ever be faulted, or even ridiculed, over the cause of a son’s death, and this - as a result of “Service to Our Country!” And in my opinion, such a slap in the face of “Any Man” - is an assault against us all!

Such is apparently the case as concerns “Major Beau Biden” who, if I heard and understood it correctly (?) , died of brain cancer, as a result of a sickness (or injury) that he incurred while ‘honorably’ serving “Our Country” in “Its Armed Forces!?”

Once again, and in my opinion, apparently “Major Beau Biden” expired from that brain tumor that he incurred while serving “Our Great Nation” within a combat area! So once again, I will never believe (nor will I even accept) that the death of “Any American” who expired from any cause, or suffered any life damaging injury “In Defense of Our Magnificent Country”, to be anything less than the most magnificent of all patriotic sacrifices and this, regardless of anyone’s political affiliations? For this man (and any man) who served “Our Nation” with courage, dedication, honor and élan is entitled to the respect and consideration that he has so rightfully earned and he (or she) rightfully deserves - “in my own personal opinion!!”

“This is not a political thing after all, but rather, it must be a matter of “Patriotism, Dedication and Love of Country!!!!”

HC - so true are your words of wisdom.

HC - so true are your words of wisdom.
-
We who've served during VN (my period) still to this day on
occasion will have flashbacks of things we've tried to forget
but can't. I've seen some terrible things during Nam.
-
And periodically - every now and then - they pop up and you
are taken back to a time - that you just can't forget.
-
It's difficult to absolutely wipe it out of your mind and
during quiet times they sometimes slip into your memory
and sure as hell - you see them - you knew them - and
their gone again!
-
Why is that? I've asked the VA they say you may never
know when those issues will pop up. There's no medication
to prevent flashbacks - it depends on what you were doing
that triggered such memories. Everyone has them periodically
and you will have to live through it - as so many before you.
-
I hope when I pass - that we will meet once more - and
that I could bring those memories to the end finally.
-
VA say's many have those flashbacks. It's something that
we never forget - and that they are in a better place - and
they too are no longer suffering and in that better place -
rather than suffering for an eternity!
-
As I've aged - I've wondered where all that time went?
-
We buried three Vet's in the last few months at our
VFW post - shocking so close together was their
passing - that it makes you reflect and think who's
next!?
-
I can't die and leave my sick wife alone - and should
she pass before me - it will leave a hole in my heart
and mind - until my passage.
-
I can only hope I've made the right decisions in my
life - and that their sacrifices - was to remove evil
from doing harm to others. God Bless Them All!

Amen - Boats
