VA benefits and the porkulus bill
 

Did anybody see any benefits in that massive porkulus bill that was related to veterans or veterans' benefits? I have searched it through various web sources, and couldn't find a dime.

I hate this wanton spending spree my government is about to embark upon and I would urge you to vote against it if I thought for a moment that you would heed advice from a broken down old veteran. Which brings me to the reason that I`m really dissatified with this whole fiasco: Not one RED CENT, nada, zip, zero do I see in the package going to Veterans Affairs! This is a travesty, Sir.

At this very website, we were told with resounding, emboldened print that Yea verily, I say unto you, the Democrat party is the party of the veterans, that all our wants and needs would be fulfilled, that all past injustices would be corrected, and that our trials would be over. Yas, Lawdy, we do believe. Yowsah, Lawdy, send down dat cash!! Sho nuff, we be votin' for da Massa, cuz he be brangin' da good stuff to us!!

So, how's that working out for you now, Scooter? And people actually believed this crap about 'change'? What's changed, except the greater number of Democrats in Congress who are still screwing the veterans? Some change, some chup.
