Hello

Hi my name is Robert J Ryan, wanted to introduce myself. I am retired from 22 years of military service. I spent three tours of duty in Vietnam. My first tour was Sep 67-68, my second tour was Mar 69-70, and my third tour was from Dec 71-72. My primary MOS was 11B my secondary MOS was 11C, and I had a third MOS of 95B, worked all three of them at one time or another during my career. I look forward to reading the posts made on this bb.

Robert,
Welcome home. And a very heartfelt thank you.

I think you'll like it here. As my old pastor used to say, "Like minded believers".
Its a great place to come and air the laundry, clear the cobwebs and have a few laughs along the way.

Therapist is here for you.

Robert,

Just one thing you must remember, I am the only normal person on this site and sometimes I wonder about me. :D

The self-appointed, unofficial site therapist,

Keith :D

P.S. A great bunch!

Well, Robert, I should have looked on this forum first to get the answers to my question :i: . Welcome again. Some of your first tour overlapped with my second. Uncle Sam was able to squeeze 22mos. in-country out of my 36mos. enlistment. Who said there's no such thing as military intelligence? :D

Thanks to all of you for welcoming to this bb. Frisco-Kid my first tour was with a MACV unit, I was with the 525th MI GP. I was not an MI type, I was in a platoon of infantryman that provided security for the compound the unit was on. My second tour of duty was with C-1/22 Inf 4th Inf Div, went to such happy places as Dak To, Konthum, Ia Drang Valley, Base camp was Camp Enari in Pleiku, the Division moved to An Khe in Feb-Mar 1970 at Camp Radcliff old home of the 1stCAV. Third tour was with the 716th MP's in Saigon (Yup got to be a Saigon Commando). I look forward to talking to all of you. Oh yeah how do I get a 4th Div Patch to show up when I make a post.
