BG McSoulpatch arrested by FBI
http://www.patriotfiles.com/forum/imgcacheB/26601.png Remember him? Well, our friends at ABC 13 in Houston have some news for us. Michael Patrick McManus was arrested Friday night after a federal judge signed a warrant for his arrest. The FBI says he was arrested without incident. This was a Joint operation between milbloggers, the traditional media, POWNet, the FBI, and mostly you - the readers of milblogs. Thank you for helping bring this guy in. ...one last note as I stick out my bottom lip like a 4-yr old; that "quote from a blogger" that is, ahem, unidentified - yea - that's me. No luv for 'ole Sal ... again.... but the blog did get a little facetime on the video .... but that is just being petty on my part, again. Bravo Zulu to all involved. <EMBED id=otvPlayer height=268 type=application/x-shockwave-flash width=400 src=http://cdn.abclocal.go.com/static/flash/embeddedPlayer/swf/otvEmLoader.swf?version=&station=ktrk§ion=&med iaId=7261279&cdnRoot=http://cdn.abclocal.go.com&webRoot=http://abclocal.go.com&site= allowscriptaccess="always" allownetworking="all" allowfullscreen="true"></EMBED> http://cdrsalamander.blogspot.com/20...ed-by-fbi.html |
Geez! The SOB wears more medals than a French general.
|
I say, old chap!
Show a little respect, why don't you? Can't you see he is a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.? :D |
That's SIR General McSoulpatch to you!
|
This is almost funny. With all those medals, looks more like a Russian General from the Cold War days. He over did it. Can't believe he had so many medals on. WOW the only one he missed was the congressional medal of honor.
I want to hear his explanation, that should be good. Hope they throw the book at him. Keith |
Although the photo above doesn't show it, another one clearly shows that he's posing as a brigadier general. Maybe it's just me, but I never saw a BG who was (1) this young, (2) had this much facial hair, especially that which is unauthorized, (3) wore awards like the medallions he displayed, when in fact his youth would have prevented those types of assignments. It is my firm desire that this POS be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and then that the Houston mayor's office be severely scolded for allowing this POS to be at their party.

I say
somebody get a rope!

Perhaps the reason he wasn't detected at the mayor's ball is that there were too many "light-in-the-loafers" type prancing around, celebrating the first openly homosexual mayor in Houston's sad history, instead of the audience consisting of real men. I'll bet you didn't get an invitation either, did you?:)

Didn't GET one, Didn't Want one............and anyone who had the audacity to "invite" this POS should be in the same JAIL CELL with him! Cryin damn shame that a piece of crap like this is able to even purchase the medals and awards he so blantantly chose to dis-honor! The "penalties" for doing what this $hithead did should be re-visited and made MUCH MORE severe than they currently are. A twenty year sentence (or MORE) would go a long way in deterring this type behavior! Makes me want to PUKE! Gimp |
Well with a limp wrist his defence will probaly be he was undercover special ops with the don't ask don't tell division. notice you only see the top part of his uniform the bottom was a tu tu

Violation of Stolen Valor Law Now Getting National Attention
For a couple of weeks now the guys over at This Ain't Hell have been pursuing the case of a Texas man they have dubbed General Ballduster McSoulpatch, whose real name is Michael Patrick McManus. What McManus has done is go around impersonating a highranking member of the military, wearing every award and medal under the sun. He can lay claim to none of them. He is a fraud, and his actions smear all veterans who served honorably. His lawyers are now trying to argue that all of his actions are covered by the first amendment and amount to nothing more then an exercise of free speech. <OBJECT id=W4ae8d36a3102598f4b715e0a0a53e680 data="http://widgets.clearspring.com/o/4ae8d36a3102598f/4b715e0a0a53e680/4ae8d36a3102598f/aa8982ee/-cpid/e67b80b9e17f0b06" width=332 height=300 type=application/x-shockwave-flash></OBJECT> Really? What if instead I decided to portray myself as some sort of rocket scientist and managed to get close to some well connected folks to push some sort of hair-brained cosmic theory? Better yet, maybe I could pass myself off as some sort of climate change expert and smear the entire scientific community with false information. Oh wait, that has been done already. Violations of the Stolen Valor Law are serious, and the attitude that is present that seems to revolve around the simple theme that it is only military personnel who are being hurt is okay, is quite frankly insulting. There are so many heroes walking among us. Silently. Unknown. The best example I have of this is my father-in-law. He is a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He made two beach landings, at Suwon and Inchon. He survived the bloody, freezing hell that is now known as the Frozen Chosin. He received two Purple Hearts, but turned down numbers three and four since it would have meant being sent home. Yet you would never know it if you met him on the street. Anytime somebody like General Ballduster comes along and attempts to piggyback off of the legacy of real service members, it is an attack on all veterans, and must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The ABC article gives credit to a guy named Doug Sterner, whom I have not heard of, but I have heard of the guys over at This Ain't Hell, and they have been on this since the beginning. They pushed the FBI to investigate. They did a lot of research and handed over the evidence to an FBI office that seemed reluctant to pursue the case. ABC is also late to the party. They state that they received information on this fake and fraud but it wasn't until Jonn and the guys over at TAH got results that they do a report. http://www.patriotfiles.com/forum/imgcacheB/26622.pngCredit for the Wanted Poster goes to Mrs. Greyhawk, who along with her husband, are one of the most influential, and pioneers, of the milblogs. http://jammiewearingfool.blogspot.co...r-law-now.html Quote:
