Good ole Southern Boy, and its his birthday!

You are a big city mid-west cop.
I forgive you but you still need counseling.

Doc, Sid, The Squid

You fellas got enough guns to start a war.

I have two shot guns, two rifles, both bolt actions. One is the Springfield, One a Stevens,
The shot guns are both pumps, one a Stevens, one an Ithica with a full choke barrel and a deer slayer barrel. All four guns have killed a deer.

John's birthday is around the time were on the mount in April looking for another excuse to have a beer.....He's from New Jersey......and He's the reason why you think I need counseling......and he's trying to trash this thread by saying you have a little one, buts thats not gonna happen
Hey John
I'm defending Keith....It may be small but it can shoot with the best of them.

How'd I do Keith?

I always loved that line from the movie, "Red River". John Ireland, as Cherry Valance, says to Robert Montgomery, as Matthew Garth, "The only thing better than a good gun is a Swiss watch, and a woman from anywhere. Have you ever had...a Swiss watch?"

'Rigger-

The SKS and it's mags are pre-ban. Not sure what the situation is now that the bans lasped

The M1A shoots mighty fine. Minute-of-squirrel. Show up in April and pop some caps with it if you take the notion.

Keith-

Anybody that needs a whole bag full a clubs ta bash one pore lil tiney ball (an still ends up with broken body parts) should understand the need for lots of guns.

'Sides,it ain't no trick to start a war; the trick is being able ta finish it.

Hal,

Would you send the above to the White House, please? :D

Hal and Rigger, www.cheaperthandirt.com has SKS mags from 5rds to30 rds+ pre-ban 40 rds. Before the ban lifted their old stock was dbble the price they are now. for SKS mags http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/sks_bdeh.htm

I'm glad the ban was lifted, my Ruger 10-22 is fun to shoot with the extended round mags. I have purchased a 50rd, two 20 rds and 3 factory 10 rd mags. The two 20rd mags are pre-ban steel lipped Condor's and the 50 rd one is made by Ramline now.I find that it(Ramline 50rd) feeds best with 40rds loaded also since it's a smoked plastic mag I marked the sides at 15 ,25 and 40 rds to make it easier to load to the number I want to shoot. I bought one of the cheap 9.95$, 25 rd mags from Cheaper Than Dirt but my 10-22 rifle didn't like it. But, my Brother in laws rifle a Stainless free floater 10-22 with laminated target shooting stock fed great with it so It depends on the rifle wether the cheap mag feeds ok.
All the rifles on here look great.
My Wife has a nice old Winchester 30.06 model 70 with scope,A 12G riot Shotgun, and a .357 Marlin Car Model 1894/scope, a Stevens single shot .22, and a Cricket .22 :) I have a Marlin 30/30 model 336A/scope, A Ruger 10-22 Car/scope, and a Winchester .22 Model 72/iron sites. For pistols we have a 44mag Super Blackhawk, A Thompson contender with 2 barrels (.357 and .256) A S&W 9mm, Colt Diamondback .22 revolver are what we shoot so far. My wifes brother comes over and brings his guns to shoot and sight in. Out here in the woods we have a 100yd Sighting range in the backyard :) It's fun shooting Pine cones out of the trees with just iron site to target them :D

Just bought a M96 Swede in 6.5X55

On the Internet. Sporterized by Kimber of Oregon. I promised the 6.5X55 that I built to be Zacharys first deer rifle so I needed to find a replacement.

DMZ-LT 01-23-2006 12:18 PM

Zachary is only 8 months old . Course my grandson is only 2 and he has a 22 , a single shot shotgun and a ruger 22 pistol. Opa the well armed. I am sure that sick puppy Bob K will try to trash this thread.
