What's needed are the OLD procedures: Subdue, disarm, thorough search, and the pen-up until surrender and end of hostilities and/or until: "The fat lady sings". Anything less shows a criminal disregard for the well being of all Coalition Forces.

Neil, Boats, David...what is happening is the age old problem of trying to win the "Hearts and Minds" while destroying the rest. Seems like the heart and minds thing kind of kicked us in the ass thirty-five or so years ago, but who are we to learn from history?

Seems to me there is a lot of empty space in the Kuwaiti desert that would make a fine POW camp. I fully agree that we should keep all Iraqi troops detained until the war ends. Save a few "Kit Carson Scouts" to lead the way.

I agree with you 100% I've been against all this insurgence into our country for the last 20 years. The open door policy has to be squeezed shut and very extreme care given to those who want to come through it.

Schooling visa's should be closely examined and llimited to the amount of time they can be here (if at all). Background checks must be made to check affiliations.

Visiting visa's should be closely verified and a agenda of where they are going should be sent with the visa forms. Somehow they have to know - we will be watching!

Neil...I think that piece of _, or Commander in Chief that you are referring to is the biggest embarrassment to ever happen to the United States. Just how many times did he openly lie to this country? I lost count many years ago. I do recall being called into a Battalion formation and the CO reading a directive from DA that all jokes and or slander of the current President would not be tolerated any longer. That was around 1995.
