- Biography
- I grew up in Galena Park, Texas. After High School I went in the Air Force as an Electrician. My first permanent base after Tech School was Robins AFB in Georgia. After two years there I wanted a challenge so I became a Military Training Instructor (Drill Instructor). After 3 and a half years I went back into my primary job as electrician and was assigned to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. My next assignment was to Sheppard AFB, TX as a Tech Training Instructor. After 4 yrs of teaching electricity I was transferred to Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. After 2 yrs I was transferred to Hahn AB, Germany. I met my wife in Germany, she was an Air Traffic Controller at Ramstein AB. After 3 yrs in Deutschland I transferred to Carswell AFB, TX where I retired. After retiring I followed my wife around for 10 more yrs till she retired. We make our home in Kentucky now. I run the Electric Shop at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
